The Vineyard Jesus
When Matteo was a boy, each evening he would hear the voice of a woman on
a distant mountain, calling for her daughter to come home for supper. He could never see
the girl, but each day of his life he heard the name, and thought about who she might be.
One day, when he became old enough to do so, Matteo finally ventured over the mountain.
That is how our great grandparents, Matteo and Carolina, came to be married.
